Last night we struck all the stuff from the Dance festival. Here is a photo.

Here is the thing, during the 2009 spring semester, we were loading in for the African Children's Choir when one of the students got hurt on the flyrail. It was a big deal and the even the Safety department got involved. Because of that, I revved up all the training and the paperwork the stated what students have been trained on. Well it happened again, A student hurt his finger. (Not the same one) but still! Here is the kicker, we were moving right along. We had moved everything out in record time. Not too fast, but at a great speed. Tomorrow, I have to deal with the paperwork, but at least it wasn't too bad.
Full Schedule

A few years ago it was nothing for me to pick up extra theatre gigs to make money. As a whole, theatre doesn't pay much, so you need as much work as possible. Now that I work for a university the income is better, but I try to bring a little extra money. During the times when the university is light it's not too bad, but when the university schedule is full on the other hand...
Right now the Aycock schedule if full. We are in the middle of the North Carolina Dance Festival and about the start loading in a Opera. In addition, I'm designing light for a local production of, "Rent." Everyday has been about a 12 to13 hour work day. Granted, it's only going to be about a week, but still it's tiring. Oh yeah, did I mention that my wife and I just bought a house, and we are closing at the end of the month. I know that I put myself in the scenario, but it is (ironically) what I love to do.
Man, I can't wait till Thanksgiving break.
